Endodontics

Endodontics is the discipline that treats inflammations and infections of the pulp of the tooth following deep decay, trauma or for prosthetic reasons. This dental treatment consists of several stages: your dental surgeon removes inflamed or infected tissues using manual and rotary files and then disinfects the canal system. The laser is a particularly effective device for this effect.
Then, your dental surgeon closes the channels in a three-dimensional and sealed way to prevent possible recontamination by bacteria.

A reconstitution of the tooth by a fiberglass, an onlay or a crown is strongly recommended in order to protect your tooth and keep it as long as possible on your arch.

Endodontic treatment is done under local anesthesia, one or more sessions will be necessary depending on the condition and anatomy of the tooth concerned.
